Dear Road Church Friends,

We will be welcoming Michael Northup to our pulpit this coming Sunday while Rev. Norm & Barbara are away. Here is a short Bio on Michael:

• Michael was born in Newport, Rhode Island, and attended parochial school in Providence. He attended La Salle Academy in Providence, R.I. from 1966-1970.

• He is a veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard, serving from 1971-1975.

• He graduated from Rhode Island College in 1980 with a degree in Education.

• He then attended Westminster Theological Seminary, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania from 1980-1985, receiving a degree in Divinity.

• He served in the ministry of the American Episcopal Church for five years, and resigned to enter full-time social work, retiring in 2020.

• Michael and his wife Patty have just recently moved to Stonington, CT.

• Michael has attended the Road Church since September, 2022.
