   Dear Road Church Friends,

While Pastor Norm and Barbara are away on their trip, we are happy to welcome Nick Stahl as our officiator for the next two weeks. Tomorrow Lisa Rautenberg will be sharing with us during the sermon time. So, please plan on joining us for this special time together.

SERMON TIME: Guest-Lisa Rautenberg

“For God Alone the Glory” with a history of J. S. Bach

Psalm 19:1-6

How clearly the sky reveals God's glory! How plainly it shows what he has done! Each day announces it to the following day; each night repeats it to the next. No speech or words are used, no sound is heard; yet their message goes out to all the world and is heard to the ends of the earth. God made a home in the sky for the sun; it comes out in the morning like a happy bridegroom, like an athlete eager to run a race. It starts at one end of the sky and goes across to the other. Nothing can hide from its heat.

MATTHEW 21:28-32

Jesus said to his opponents, listen to this and tell me what you think. There was once a man who had two sons. He went to the older one and said, ‘Son, go and work in the vineyard today.’ ‘I don't want to,’ he answered, but later he changed his mind and went. Then the father went to the other son and said the same thing. ‘Yes, sir,’ he answered, but he did not go.  Which one of the two did what his father wanted?” “The older one,” they answered. So Jesus said to them, “I tell you: the tax collectors and the prostitutes are going into the Kingdom of God ahead of you. For John the Baptist came to you showing you the right path to take, and you would not believe him; but the tax collectors and the prostitutes believed him. Even when you saw this, you did not later change your minds and believe him.
