Message from Pastor Norm

July 30, 2020

Dear Road Church Friends,

This has been a busy week as a few of us have been preparing the sanctuary for our first in person Sunday service since March. We do believe it is time to make this move, but we are being very careful to make it as safe and comfortable as possible for those who choose to attend. As of today (Thursday) eight people have signed up for this Sunday, August 2, 2020. There is room for a few more. But the service will be recorded, so you may view it at home if you prefer to do that. We will try to make it available for viewing as soon as we are able to do so early Sunday afternoon. If you want to make a reservation or have a question you may call me at 860-759-6720.

Twelve pews have been numbered for seating. They are widely spaced. Attendees will be seated one pew at a time. Masks will be required. Hand sanitizer is available for your use.

My message will be a reflection on Matthew 14:1-21, the Execution of John the Baptist and the story of the Feeding of the great crowd in the wilderness. These stories have some important lessons for today, especially for the “wilderness” times we are in right now.

May God bless you with faith, hope and love,

 Pastor Norm 860-759-6720 normerlendson@gmail.com
